Mike has done a beautiful job laying Victorian mosaic tiles in my hallway, all the more impressive since he had to rescue the tiles which had been laid incorrectly once by my builder.
I'd abandoned hope that the work could be saved but Mike (and Terry!) worked miracles and now the tiles are my favourite thing in the whole house.
Wouldn't hesitate in recommending

Thank you Alice for your kind comments.
I've completed a lot of tiling over the years but I think it's safe to say that this was probably the 'most challenging' of all the tiling jobs worked on to date.
To give an idea for those who've not seen victorian tiling it comprises of thousands of 'pieces' formed in regular patterns throughout the design.
In this instance, because you took up the original tiling completed by builders which wasn't up to standard we were left with well over a thousand individual pieces in approximately a square metre, contained within a border which was then cut to match the original design.
The floor was levelled and the tiling was set onto a mosaic depth trowel and every piece finely spread with adhesive to ensure a 'good' bond was achieved.
To say my eyes were spinning at the end is an understatement!!!!
