Alex Lyons is the handsome one on the right who's trying to take the title of 'the best tiler in the family' Nevertheless I'll show some pictures of wall and floor tiling that Alex has completed for you to decide for yourself. He's the middle of my 3 children along with his older sister Natalie and younger sister Jade, I think I did OK having 'Alex' working with me as Natalie's bossy and Jade's even worse:-). I think I'm going to get some stick off Nat & Jade for saying that :-(.
I of course knew what to do but occasionally just peeked at Nat's work just to check if mine was OK! Alex has over the period of 4-5 years become a very good tiler in his own right and get's great praise for the quality of his work and his manner when working in the homes of our clients. So much so that he's always the one who gets all the tips and is looked after with plenty of tea and biscuits.

We always ask our customers "where did you find us when you were looking for tilers"?
but he's going to have to wait a while to take that title from his Dad!
Since leaving school it wasn't Alex's first choice to work for me but after a couple of years he came to work for 'the business'. Natalie also had a great input to the web stuff you see here by accompanying me on a web course which helped me to publicise the business.
Funnily enough we ended up with exactly the same grade when 'we' passed our exam and course work. Hmmmmm :-).
He's very reluctant to part with 50% of the tips, I don't know why, I've always allowed him to take half the rubbish away at the end of the job.
