Your victorian tiles (1860 to 1920's) can be cleaned and sealed with full restoration to their former deep and vivid colours by sympathetically cleaning with bio-degradable products. We then simply wash off leaving the surface ready to be sealed for long term protection and supply you with aftercare products to maintain their look indefinitely.

We are actively involved in restoring and cleaning Victorian floor tiles , also Georgian and Edwardian. Tiles can repaired, replaced or cleaned bringing your existing hallway or external tiles back to itheir original and authentic look.

There are lots of reasons why we would renew tiles that our parents and grandparents enjoyed but unfortunately due to trends and fashions were covered in carpet, wood and more permanent flooring.

Even if they have been 'tiled over' they can still be restored to an exceptionally high standard, retaining your original floor intact.

Fortunately we now have products to 'revive' tired old floors and bring them back to their former glory and by carefully cleaning, repairing and sealing them we can enhance and prolong the life of many types of mosaic, terrazzo and victorian flooring.

You shouldn't seal tiles until they have been thoroughly cleaned using appropriate products that will not harm or discolour the surface but instead 'draw out' the years of foot traffic soiling they will have endured.

Once cleaned they can then be protected with durable sealants that enhance the natural colours creating a low maintenance and beautiful finish.

We first supply you with a colour catalogue to choose from and carry out a FREE survey taking all the critical measurements transferring these on to a master copy ready for costing. You can then purchase at a discount saving you a stocking charge and we cost the fitting of your victorian floor tiles separately.

A lot of old victorian tiles will show signs of wear and tear and will require a certain amount of TLC and renovation. This is completed by sympathetically restoring old tiles back to as near the original as possible.

In certain circumstances victorian tile patterns will need to be replaced by finding a copy of of your tiles and replicating the original pattern. By piecing together copies or sourced pieces we can then renew any original patterns to their former design.
