Travertine tiles are suitable for just about any room in the home and to see them in any setting whether it be floors or walls, gives an air of "expensive" but in fact are not.

Travertine flooring seems to be accepted more than for wall tiling although it gives a superb finish especially for bathroom tiling and when sealed are as easy to maintain as any other tile.

The one thing that's not so apparent with travertine is that the older it gets the better it looks, especially with travertine flooring.
