Flood damaged floors CAN be retrieved, especially where natural stone is concerned, either by repair or replacement.

From experience we are confident that we can remedy issues quickly and efficiently once we have identified the processes to be carried out, very often giving the areas a totally rejuvenated look without having to replace your floor.

Having said that, we are able to reproduce an original floor be it Victorian, Limestone or Travertine etc. Sometimes this will be a replacement due to excess damage or repairing if possible to look like new once again.

The saturation of water doesn't necessarily mean the bond is broken, if this were true then every swimming pool ever built would be a disaster but it isn't the case.

Modern day fixing methods mean that the adhesive strength and grouting can withstand enormous pressure even when under water for great lengths of time.

We are confident that if you have water damaged floors that we can identify the issues and remedy them without any fuss or bother.

The steps we take to replace or repair your floors are;

  • Identify your floor, stone type, availability etc
  • Photograph the floor for record of damage
  • Test the floor for damage and 'permanent' bond strength
  • Ascertain replacements available (if possible)
  • Calculate costs for work on initial inspection
  • Remove apparent damage for second inspection
  • Confirm calculations for costs involved
  • Liaise with insurers or yourselves re costs
  • Access your new floor components for delivery
  • Take delivery on site or store accordingly
  • Carry out work as schedule of work (quoted)
  • On completion, photograph final phase of work
  • Liaise with insurers or yourselves re payment

Throughout the various phases of work all parties are kept informed via email and telephone of 'progression of installation'.

You can of course contact us for an appraisal of work that you feel is necessary to repair or replace your flooring, even if you haven't had the opportunity to talk with your insurance representative.

If requested we will liaise with your insurers on your behalf if required.

All installations come with a FREE annual maintenance survey as part of our process of repair or replacement.
