Commercial floor cleaning is just about as messy as it gets, covering the areas that likely receives the most aggressive foot traffic possible, such as shopping malls, factories, precincts, pubs and restaurants. These are covered by so many varying surfaces of tile, stone, vinyl and wood.

The degree of floor cleaning necessary to revitalise the surface, depends on the type of soiling and can often contain rubber, oil, general dirt, chemicals, blood and worse, such is the varying mix likely to be distributed underfoot quite liberally in commercial areas.

General maintenance in public areas and industrial units would likely keep the floor spaces in good order, however, there would be in all probability be a build up of soil that would be best remedied by a heavier, more intrusive level of deep cleaning to remove the worst of the wear and tear on any floor.
